Perchée entre 1450m et
1650m, la première station de
la vallée de la Maurienne,
Saint-François-Longchamp se
situe au pied du Col de la
Madeleine avec une superbe
vue du Mont Blanc jusqu'aux
Ecrins. A ce merveilleux
panorama, des altitudes variées
convenant à tous les âges,
s'ajoute un climat propice et
sain avec un ensoleillement
exceptionnel et des immenses
étendues de neige blanche.
L'histoire touristique que de Saint-François-Longchamp remonte à
l‘année 1936 avec la construction du premier téléski par Teulé,
garagiste à La Chambre, ce qui deviendra plus tard la station de sports
d‘hiver. En 1950, la station se développe grâce notamment à
l‘intervention de Montaz, ouvrier parisien de Poma qui développe sa
société de remontées mécaniques et reprend le téléski des Clochettes
pour le remettre au goût du jour. Puis, la famille du futur champion
olympique de Jean-Claude Killy (Grenoble 1968) s'installe dans la
station basse.
En 1982, le TGV arrive à Saint-Avre/La Chambre à 12 km de la station.
1983 est marquée par la naissance du Grand Domaine avec Valmorel,
un terrain de jeu de plus de 165km de pistes pour un plaisir à
partager en famille ou entre amis.
En 1987, l’inauguration de la Maison du Tourisme, contenant l’office
de tourisme, une salle polyvalente, des bureaux et une salle de
cinéma.
Devenue station de ski dès les années 30, Saint-François-Longchamp a
tous les atouts pour correspondre aux attentes des skieurs français et
étrangers avec son charme convivial, un patrimoine culturel,
gastronomique et architectural.
Accessibilité
Saint-François Longchamp profite d‘une situation géographique avantageuse avec une accessibilité garantie par des liaisons hebdomadaires des
principaux aéroports de la région (à 1h de Chambéry, 1h 15 de Grenoble, 2h de Lyon, de Genève et de Turin).
C'est donc aujourd'hui, la première station de Maurienne en terme d’accessibilité.

Du 1er au 10 décembre 2014, les internautes avaient la possibilité de voter pour leur

A la suite de ces votes, Saint-François Longchamp a été élue 4éme station d’Europe
par ses fans derrière Val Thorens, l’Alpe d’Huez et Megève.

Saint-François-Longchamp connait ses célébrités….
• Jean-Claude Killy devenu le deuxième skieur français à remporter les trois épreuves de ski alpin lors des mêmes Jeux
Olympiques en 1968 à Grenoble, s’était entraîné sur les pentes du Roc-Noir de Saint-François-Longchamp, téléski le plus
long, le plus rapide de l’époque.
• Jean Bernard, fondateur de la station, le premier moniteur diplômé (à Val d’Isère) de Saint-François en 1938-39.
• Pierre Montaz, le fondateur de la société de remontées mécaniques Montaz Mautino.
• Eddy Merckx, le plus grand cycliste de l'Histoire, avait gagné son 1er Tour de France avec le passage pour la première
fois à Saint-François-Longchamp en 1969.
• Bernard Hinault, le troisième coureur cycliste français à avoir remporté à cinq reprises le Tour de France. Le centre de
balnéothérapie Bernard Hinault est ouvert dans la station en 2010.
• Fanny Cottençon , le cinéma « le Fanny » est ouvert en l’honneur de cette productrice et actrice française.
• François Feldman, auteur -compositeur- interprète français.
• Patrick Préjean, acteur français de théâtre, cinéma et télévision, spécialisé aussi dans le doublage.
• Marion Pellissier, championne de la station, classement parmi les 10 premières en Coupe du Monde de Ski en 20092010 et 2011-2012.
• Philippe Candeloro, patineur artistique français, vice-champion du monde.

Remontées mécaniques
L’ère des remontées mécaniques arrive à l’année 1996 avec la société vosgienne REMY LOISIRS et la mise en place des
premiers télésièges et des téléskis dans la station…
Inauguration de la Maison des Services et du
télésiège du Soleil Rouge le 31 Janvier 2014
Mise en service dès Noël 2013 par la société « POMA », le
télésiège du Soleil Rouge ouvre un nouvel espace de ski vers le
secteur des Balcons. Cet appareil culmine à plus de 2200m
d’altitude et dessert une piste rouge et une bleue, pour vous
donner plus d’émotions et de sensations insolites.

LA MAISON DES ENFANTS
Les vacances sont un moment privilégié pour se
retrouver en famille, mais aussi l’occasion de
rencontrer des amis et pratiquer des activités
chacun à son rythme. Donner le sourire à toute la
famille est l’objectif principal de la station de SaintFrançois-Longchamp .
Des professionnels pour chouchouter vos bébés et vos
enfants
Saint-François-Longchamp est un vrai paradis pour les enfants.
Avec l’avantage d’ « être ski au pieds » depuis toutes les
résidences, les enfants ont un immense terrain de jeu à leur
disposition. La Maison des Enfants accueille les enfants de 3
mois à 12 ans. Pris en charge par une équipe d’éducatrices et
d’animatrices diplômées aux clubs des Lutins (3 mois/3 ans),
des Marmottons (4/5ans) et des Cabris (6/12 ans). 800m²
d'espaces aménagés pour eux selon leur âge. Les cours de ski
dès 3 ans.
Au programme, activités diverses, jeux, animations tout au
long de la semaine. Et pour l’extérieur, bonhommes de neige,
luge et rires sous le soleil.

Les évènements de l’hiver pour vos enfants
C’est pour proposer à sa clientèle familiale des animations diversifiées que Saint-François-Longchamp a mis en place depuis plusieurs années,
le festival des P’tites Canailles en Moufles, festival entièrement dédié aux enfants.
Cette année à l’occasion de la 7ème édition (du 14
au 16 Janvier 2015), Zian, le petit savoyard invite vos
enfants à découvrir les Alpes pour des grandes
aventures et de nombreuses découvertes. Une
semaine est proposée à la petite enfance pleine
d’ateliers pédagogiques, de surprises, de spectacles,
d’animations déambulatoires et interactives.
Les Féeries de Noël du 22 au 25 Décembre
Des soirées autour du thème de Noël avec
spectacle, contes, marché de Noël. Ce moment de
magie pour les plus petits est l’occasion de
découvrir les produits locaux ainsi que de retrouver
votre âme d’enfant pour les plus grands.

Ecole du Ski Français
Depuis sa création, l’ESF de Saint-François-Longchamp
participe à la vie et au développement de la station. L'ESF
de Saint François Longchamp et ses moniteurs vous offre
une formation idéale pour profiter de tous les types de
glisse. 60 moniteurs vous feront aimer la montagne en
hiver, vous apprendront à glisser tout en détente et à
découvrir le plaisir de la neige. Que ce soit en ski ou
snowboard, en fonction de votre envie, les moniteurs
sont là pour vous faire progresser en toute convivialité.
Pour ceux qui aiment le plaisir des grands espaces
naturels vierges, la prise de risque, on propose le
Freeride. Et pour les non-skieurs, profitez de nos
promenades en taxiski dans un fauteuil ski ou tandem
ski, conduit par l’un de nos moniteurs diplômés.

Saint-François-Longchamp est la station de ski avec un nombre de lits touristiques de 10 713 (marchands et non marchands) pour tous les goûts
et toutes les bourses, gîtes de France, hôtels, villages vacances, chambres d’hôtes, appartements tout confort de 2 à 12 personnes, jusqu’aux
chalets luxueux en bois. Nos hébergements sont appréciés par notre clientèle pour son rapport qualité/prix, son niveau d’équipement et sa
facilité de réservation à l’aide du classement des hébergements. « SFL Qualité Confort », repérable par des soleils (de 1 à 5), est un classement
mis en place par la Centrale de Réservation, avec une grille d’évaluation de qualité des hébergements. Le label Clévacances classe les

Gastronomie, Culture et Patrimoine
Au cœur des Alpes, Saint-François-Longchamp et la région de Savoie sont appréciés pour leurs nombreuses traditions et la diversité culinaire.
Savourées depuis des décennies, certaines recettes sont de grands classiques de gastronomie, comme la fondue, la raclette, la tartiflette et
d’autres à découvrir: les paillassons, le farçon, la potence.
Ce patrimoine gastronomique est présent
avec ses fermes d’alpage accessibles à la
visite en été, et toute l’année,
la
Coopérative Laitière de La Chambre
propose des visites commentées et
gratuites des secrets de fabrication du
fromage savoyard « le Beaufort ».
Déjeuner en terrasse panoramique, en restaurant d’altitude (dont
deux au col de la Madeleine). En soirée, les bonnes tables de la
station sont là pour faire découvrir la reblochonnade, raclette de
l’alpage, mais aussi des déclinaisons plus originales, comme la
fondue à la tomate. Le tout dans un cadre chaleureux, avec une
ambiance de votre choix.
A ne pas rater: Une semaine des vins de Savoie
Cet hiver du 8 au 13 février 2015, venez découvrir les
vins de Savoie entre conférence et dégustation en
présence de grands producteurs-récoltants.
Découvrez également la culture savoyarde au travers de nombreux musées, reflets d’un savoirfaire ancestral, de conférences et d’animations tout au long de la saison.

Des activités insolites
Il faut dire que Saint-François-Longchamp ne manque pas d'activités insolites en hiver.
Il y a, bien sûr, les chiens de traîneau, avec lesquels vous pourrez effectuer des balades incroyables,
notamment sur la route du Tour de France de 5km.
Pour les amateurs de nature,
rejoignez les accompagnateurs en
montagne et initiez-vous aux sorties
en raquettes à neige afin de
découvrir les secrets et les espaces
vierges de nos montagnes. Les
balades sont de niveaux variés sur
une demi-journée, à la journée ou en
nocturne pour des sorties riches en
émotions et en souvenirs.
Pour des sensations plus fortes, une
pratique du vol libre en parapente et du
speed-riding, un kitesurf sur neige.
Pour vous, skieurs, le cadre est idéal pour
réaliser des sauts en toute sécurité sans se
soucier de la réception avec un nouveau
coussin gonflé d’air: le BIG AIR BAG.
Une aventure insolite pour les petits et les
grands, les conducteurs de dameuses de la
station vous invitent à découvrir les
coulisses des pistes en grimpant à bord de
leur machine à la tombée de nuit. ( jeuconcours à gagner)
Glisse des parets est une descente en luge à un seul patin ferré,
équipée d’une planchette permettant de s’asseoir à califourchon.
Des émotions et sensations à 80km/h. Cette activité est à découvrir
chaque semaine avec les animateurs de l’Office de Tourisme.

L’univers du bien-être
Les vacances à la montagne ne riment pas uniquement avec le sport. La montagne est aussi un lieu reposant où chacun peut vivre à son rythme
et la station vous propose de vivre cette nouvelle expérience de récupération du corps à 1650 m d’altitude. C’est depuis l’hiver 2010 que SaintFrançois-Longchamp accueille un centre de remise en forme nouvelle génération, Le Centre de Balnéothérapie.
Le Centre de Balnéothérapie est un outil de bien-être et de
détente au cœur de la montagne.
C’est plus de 2500 m ² dédiés au bien-être au travers des
bassins de balnéothérapie, bassins extérieurs, sauna,
hammams, jacuzzis, salle de fitness et de musculation, tout
dans l’objectif de détente. Pour finir votre journée en
beauté, un bar-bowling est à disposition avec des concerts
réguliers et gratuits.
Les principales innovations du Centre de Balnéothérapie.
Son approche personnalisée et adaptée: Conçu par des kinésithérapeutes,
des médecins et des préparateurs physiques, le centre de remise en forme
met l’exigence du sport de haut niveau au service et à la portée de tous.
Sa spectaculaire balnéothérapie: un concept de travail basé sur la
résistance de l’eau, avec l’aide de la machine permettant le travail cardiovasculaire et musculaire.
Un bilan de professionnels est proposé avec des conseils de différents
parcours.

L’après-ski et vos soirées
Pour voir la vie en grand, Saint-François-Longchamp organise pour vous chaque semaine des rendez-vous incontournables à vivre en famille ou
entre amis. Il y en a pour tous les goûts: concerts, festivals, dégustations, conférences…la richesse des évènements sportifs, culturels ou
traditionnels font le dynamisme de notre station.

Espace Nordique et Piétons
Située à 12 km de Saint-François-Longchamp, la zone Nordique du Grand Coin est située en partie sur la commune de Montaimont.
En parcourant les 45 km de pistes de ski de fond, vous pouvez découvrir un secteur qui ne finira pas de vous émerveiller.
Entre le village de Montaimont et celui de Montpascal, les pistes
du Grand Coin Nordique conduisent à travers des forêts de
sapins et permettent de relier des hameaux typiques et
authentiques. C’est la variété des paysages qui rend ces villages
si attrayants et permet à ceux qui les traversent de goûter à la
beauté de la région. Prenez alors le temps d’admirer les sites du
Col du Chaussy, des hameaux et des petites chapelles à travers
la forêt de la Lie.
Et dans la station, des itinéraires piétons variées sont à découvrir.

Ski pour Tous
Depuis l’année 2002 Saint-François-Longchamp organise la Rencontre Handiski et Handisport de Montagne. Ce rendez-vous
permet à toutes les personnes handicapées de découvrir les plaisirs de la neige, encadrées par des spécialistes
professionnels, fabricants de matériel pour le sport adapté, moniteurs de ski avec qualification spécifique handisport, moniteurs
de parapente ou encore organismes agissants en faveur du sport et du tourisme adapté.

Afin de répondre mieux aux attentes de sa clientèle, Saint-François-Longchamp a lancé des produits novateurs comme
application sur Smartphone et la Carte Soleil, une carte de fidélité pour faciliter les règlements sur la station.

C’est une nouvelle carte de la station qui fonctionne
comme un porte-monnaie électronique et qui vous
sert de moyen de paIement en unités auprès de
nombreux prestataires d’activités.
Ses avantages: non nominative, valable 2 ans,
simple d’utilisation, elle accorde des réductions sur
les activités de votre choix et peut être confiée à la
famille ou à des amis qui viennent séjourner sur la
station.

Disponible sur Iphone ou Android, la nouvelle
application Saint-François-Longchamp vous attend sur
votre smartphone. Ses avantages: mesure vos
performances sur les pistes (vitesse, dénivelé, distance
parcourue), géolocalise votre position sur le domaine
skiable, affiche les webcams, donne la météo, permet
d’acheter ou de recharger son forfait, donne des
informations de la station, programme des animations,
etc…

Des centaines d’employés travaillent dans la station pour que vos vacances soient réussies, remplies d’une ambiance familiale, conviviale et
fabuleuse.
Chaque matin, une attention toute particulière est portée à la préparation des
pistes et à la sécurisation du domaine skiable.
Pour proposer constamment un service de qualité sur la station, tous les hébergements
sont « skis aux pieds », des navettes gratuites sont mises à disposition de tous pour
faciliter les déplacements dans la station, ainsi que le Cabinet Médical et la Pharmacie sont
prêts à vous accueillir tous les jours de la semaine.

Le "Grand Domaine", c'est le premier domaine de Tarentaise le plus proche de Paris, de Grenoble, de Lyon, de Chambéry. 3600
ha de domaine skiable autour de Saint François Longchamp, Valmorel, Doucy et Celliers et du grand ski évasion pour les plaisirs
de tous. Depuis sa création, ce rassemblement de stations a pour objectif d’offrir le meilleur du ski et de donner plus d’avantage
sur ce marché touristique. Sur le plan des Alpes du Nord, c’est un acteur de poids avec 165 km de pistes soit 90 pistes, 50
remontées mécaniques, 315 canons à neige.
Saint-François-Longchamp (SFL) est une station qui jouit d’une image conviviale, familiale et fabuleuse. On a pu créer des
produits novateurs qui facilitent le ski et la vie sur la station (télésiège Soleil Rouge, navette gratuite, application Smartphone,
Centrale de Réservation, Carte Soleil, Maison des Services…) C’est au total sept nouveaux appareils et un programme de plus
de 35 millions d’euros qui ont été investi sur le domaine skiable, et qui ont permis de moderniser tous les axes principaux de la
station.
Toutes ces nouveautés sont suivies par une politique de qualité, de sécurité et de respect de l’environnement.
Lancé récemment, le service de réservation en ligne permet de réserver rapidement et facilement votre séjour « tout compris »
soit payer des prestations de votre choix: que ce soit hébergement ou forfaits de ski, cours de ski, activités ou même la
possibilité d’accéder aux plusieurs boutiques. C’est dans la logique de « réserver vos vacances en montagne » et non plus « tout
ski » que nous avons créé ce service d’agence en ligne.
Ouvert depuis cinq ans, le Centre de Balnéothérapie est un nouvel atout pour la station qui complète une offre d’activité,
permettant d’apporter une touche de bien-être, de remise en forme au cœur de la montagne.
Soucieux de faire connaitre le plaisir de la neige à tout le monde, SFL invite le public handicapé à tester le ski dans un fauteuil de
« taxiski » conduit par l’un de nos moniteurs diplômés. A cette occasion, on organise en partenariat avec le Club Albertville
Handisport des journées de Handi Gliss Maurienne.
SFL est une station dynamique qui participe à plusieurs salons chaque année pour se positionner sur ce marché et attirer la
nouvelle clientèle internationale. La construction des futurs chalets avec une montée en gamme permettront de séduire la

Origins
Nestled on the mountainside between
1450m and 1650 m, Saint-FrançoisLongchamp, the first ski resort,
geographically speaking, in the
Maurienne valley is situated at the
heart of the Col de la Madeleine with
an amazing view on the Mont Blanc
until the Ecrins. This marvellous
panorama, diversity of altitude suitable
for all ages are supplemented by its
refreshing and healthy climate with
sunshine and huge stretches of white
snow.
The tourism history of Saint-François-Longchamp arrived in the 1936s
with the construction of the first ski lift by an individual. Later it
become a holiday resort of winter sports. Thus in 1950, the family of
the future Olympic champion Jean-Claude Killy (Grenoble1968)
settles in the lower station. In 1982, the TGV arrives in the valley of
Saint-Avre La Chambre, located 12 km from the resort. It’s also the
date of the birth of the “Grand Domaine”, a link of the skiing area of
Saint-François-Longchamp with that of Valmorel. A play park of more
than 165km of ski slopes to enjoy sharing with family or friends.
In 1987, the Tourism House was inaugurated with containing already
a multipurpose room, offices and a movie theater.
Became the resort of winter sports of the 30s, Saint-FrançoisLongchamp has everything to match the expectations of French and
foreign skiers with its festal charm of the cultural, gastronomic and
architectural heritage.

P'tites Canailles en Moufles.
This year from 14th to 16th of January 2015, Zian, the

Since its creation, French Ski School ESF has participated
in the resort’s life and its development. The ESF together
with instructors offer the ideal training to make the most
of all the snow sports available in Saint-FrançoisLongchamp. Their 60 instructors are there to teach you
to ski and snowboard in a relaxed way, to help you
appreciate the pleasure of these sports and to
communicate to you their love of mountains and snow.
Be it skiing or snowboarding, our instructors are available
to meet your expectations and help you improve your
technique, all in a friendly atmosphere. For the fans of
the great wilderness areas, risk-taking, they propose the
Freeride. And for the “no-skiers” enjoy our taxiski walks
in a chair skiing, tandem skiing, leading by one of the

Cross-country & snow walks
Located 12 km from Saint-François-Longchamp, the Grand Coin Nordic area is in the village of Montaimont. Discover the 45 km of crosscountry skiing, you will find an area that will surprise you.
Between two villages Montaimont and Montpascal, the crosscountry runs drive through pine forests and used to connect
typical and authentic hamlets. It is the variety that makes the
beauty of the landscape. So take the time to admire the sites of
the “Col du Chaussy”, and the hamlets through the Lie forest.
And from the resort itself there are six snow walks which are possible for you to try.

The " Grand Domaine" is the first field of the Tarentaise, near Paris, Grenoble, Lyon, and Chambery. 8900 acres of ski area around Saint
François Longchamp, Valmorel, Doucy and Celliers and the great ski escape for the pleasures of all. Since its inception, this resorts

Saint-François-Longchamp (SFL) is a resort that has a friendly, family and fabulous image. We have created the innovative products

Services ...) There are in total seven new devices and program of more than 35 million euros that were invested in the ski area, which

Об истории
Расположенная на высоте 1450 и
1650 метров, Сан-Франсуа-Лоншан
(Saint-François-Longchamp), первая
горнолыжная станция в долине
Морьен (Maurienne) находится у
самого подножия Коль де ла Мадлен
(Col de la Madeleine). Основой этого
курорта является прекрасный вид

аэропортов (в часе езды от Шамбери, Гренобля и в 2ч от Лиона,

Приведённый в действие во время Рождественских каникул ,
новый подъёмник Солей Руж открыл новую горнолыжную
зону на высоте 2 200м. Благодяря этому оборудованию, на
станции открыты две новые дополнительные трассы: красная
и синяя, позволяющие больше ярких эмоций и острых
ощущений.
