Priest: Blessed is our God always: now and ever,
and unto ages of ages.

Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal,
have mercy on us. (thrice)
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy
Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.
O All-Holy Trinity, have mercy on us.
O Lord, cleanse away our sins;
O Master, pardon our transgressions;
O Holy One, visit us and heal our infirmities,
for Thy Name's sake.
Lord, have mercy. (thrice)
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy
Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.
Our Father, Who art in heaven! Hallowed be Thy
Name, Thy Kingdom come! Thy will be done, on earth
as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread!
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who
trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Priest: May He Who has power over the living and
the dead, Who Himself rose again from the dead,
Christ our true God, through the prayers of His
all-pure Mother; of the holy, glorious and all-laudable
Apostles; of our holy and God-bearing Fathers; and of
all the Saints; establish the soul(s) of His servant(s),
__, who hath (have) been taken from us, in the
mansions of the Righteous; give him (her, them) rest
in Abraham’s bosom and number him (her, them)
among the Just; and have mercy on us, forasmuch as
He is good and loveth mankind.

Deacon ask the Priest's blessing for censing
Deacon: Grant rest eternal in blessed repose, O Lord,
to Thy servant(s),__, who is (have) fallen asleep,
and make his (her, their) memory to be eternal!

Priest: May God beatify and give him (her, them)
rest, and be merciful unto us, forasmuch as He is
good and loveth mankind.

rest to the soul(s) of Thy servant(s) O Saviour;
preserving it (them) in the blessed life which is
with Thee, who lovest mankind.
In the place of Thy rest, O Lord, where all Thy
Saints repose, give rest also to the soul(s) of Thy
servant(s); for Thou only lovest mankind.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the
Holy Spirit.
Thou art God who descended into Hell, and
loosed the bonds of the captives; thyself give rest
also to the soul(s) of Thy servant(s).

With the Saints give rest, O Christ, to the soul(s)
of Thy servant(s), where sickness and sorrow are
no more, neither sighing, but life everlasting.
Deacon performs small censing: center analogion, at four
sides, festal icon, iconastasis, Priest, people from the amvon,
Royal Doors, icon of the Savior, icon of the Mother of God,
festal icon, analogion, presiding Priest.
Deacon: Wisdom!
Priest: Most Holy Theotokos, save us.
Choir: More honorable than the Cherubim, and
beyond compare more glorious than the Seraphim,
thou who without defilement gave birth to God the
Word, true Birth-giver of God, we magnify thee.
Priest: Glory to Thee, O Christ our God, our hope;
glory to Thee.

Again we pray for the repose of the soul(s) of the
servant(s) of God__, departed this life: and that he
(she, they) may be pardoned all his (her, their) sins,
both voluntary and involuntary.
That the Lord God will establish his (her, their) soul(s)
where the Just repose.
The mercies of God, the kingdom of heaven, and the
remission of his (her, their) sins let us entreat of Christ,
our King Immortal, and our God.
Еще молимся о упокоении душ усопших рабов
Божиих (души усопшаго раба Божия, - души усопшия
рабы Божия)___и о еже проститися им (ему, ей)
всякому прегрешению, вольному же и невольному.
Яко да Господь Бог учинит душы их (душу его,- ея),
идеже праведнии упокояются.
Милости Божия, Царства Небеснаго, и оставления
грехов их (его, ея) у Христа безсмертнаго Царя и Бога
нашего просим.

Priest: (quietly) O God of spirits, and of all flesh, Who
hast trampled down Death, and overthrown the Devil,
and given life unto Thy world: Do Thou, the same Lord,
give rest to the soul of Thy departed servant(s)__, in a
place of brightness, a place of refreshment, a place of
repose, where all sickness, sorrow and sighing have fled
away. Pardon every transgression which he (she) hath
(they have) committed, whether by word, or deed, or
thought. For Thou art a good God, and lovest mankind;
because there is no man who liveth and sinneth not; for
Thou only art without sin, and Thy righteousness is to all
eternity, and Thy word is true.
