of i t as long as the main switch JH i s closed.

Persons must undergo s t a t i c discharging before touching p r i n t s
(by touching e a r t h , e.g. control l e r frame).

Only s p e c i a l l y instructed personnel a r e a1 lowed to make e l e c t r i c a l
measurements on p r i n t s .

The p r i n t s t h a t a r e not in use (plugged-in) s h a l l always be kept in the
a n t i s t a t i c package in which they have been supplied.

Check t h a t the screws in the terminals a r e a l l t i g h t , as well as the
connections t o contactors, r e l a y s , e t c .

Swing o u t the bay compartment BGT. (Unscrew the two o u t e r screws of the
bay compartment).

Make a visual check of the c,onnection pins on the p r i n t edge connectors.
The connection pins must not contact each other and thus cause conductive
connections among themselves.
Further take care t h a t the supply bars a r e properly clamped and a r e lined
u p horizontally with clearance.

adaptor. Adaptors a r e multiple pin s t r i p s (bearing no p r i n t s ) i n
the bay compartment. They serve f o r adapting normal-wrap to miniwrap. The positions of these adaptors d i f f e r from i n s t a l l a t i o n t o
i n s t a l l a t i o n . The allocation of the pins and the positions of the
adaptors are shown on the next following pages.

Interrupt connection PE t o M01.
Interconnect the ohmmeter: The instrument shall indicate a value of
> 20 k n
u p t o i n f i n i t e value ( CO ) .
Thereafter remove the o h m e t e r and replace the connections.
-
Connect 80V, disconnect 22V, by means of the 2 c i r c u i t breakers on power
supply unit NGE.
-
Switch on the main switches JH and JTHS.
Measure the voltage between M01 and the adaptor on print SF 83:
A11 the connection pins must be f r e e of a1 ternating o r d i r e c t v01 tage,
Positions of the adaptor of p r i n t SF 83: see page 9/25 and the fol lowing,
o r page 8/25 upper section.

Reconnect 22V by means of the c i r c u i t breaker on power supply u n i t NGE.
Switch off JH.

prints f i t t i g h t l y the multiple pin s t r i p s .

Before performing the Erection Test Travel
have been completed and the l i f t prepared f o r the f i n a l mechanical work.
Further, a l l the. d e t a i l s of the instruction of para 2: "Testing and Preparations p r i o r t o s e t t i n g i n t o Operation" must have been gone through.
- Switch off main switch JH.
- Prints must not yet be plugged into the BGT (bay compartment).
- A d j u s t the mechanical brake provisionally.
- I n the case of automatic doors, overbridge the contact KTC conspicuously
in the machine room, i f necessary (terminals No. 1108
-
-
1116).
I n the case of automatic doors, remove the wires from the t e m i n a l s No. 40L
40L2, 40L3 (automa t i c door drive di sconnected ) .
- Switch
the Inspection control switch JREC on t o p of tbe c a r t o "normal"
position.
-
The s a f e t y c i r c u i t between the terminals P3 and 1190 i s closed (check
with measurement instrument).
-
Check t h a t the s a f e t y c i r c u i t i s interrupted on operation of stop
switch JHC.

Check function of t h e emergency l i m i t switch on the c a r roof ( i n t e r r u p t i o n
of the s a f e t y c i rcui t ) .

a r e c o r r e c t , which a r e made on erection. The best way of performing such
an examination i s t o take the connection pins out of the terminals and to
ring them u p with the t e s t be1 l .

- Set Inspection Travel switch JREC on c a r top t o *normal1' position.
- Pull out Erection Test Travel p r i n t MFV (Pos. A3-83).
- Plug i n p r i n t BNG 125 i n t o t h e positions A3-B3 of t h e bay compartment.
- Connect the pin 03/62 with 83/4z on the p r i n t edge connector BNG 125
(print-plug checking f o r SF 83 and PE 80). This connection s h a l l be made
provisionally by means of a laboratory cable and terminal clamp probe tips.
- Switch off
c i r c u i t breaker of power supply u n i t NGE 80V.
Switch on c i r c u i t breaker of power supply unit NGE 22V.
