Внеклассное мероприятие
«Youth in the modern world,
It's role and problems»
10 «A» класс. Подготовила:

Цели мероприятия:
 Познавательный аспект — увеличение объема знаний об особенностях
жизни молодежи родной страны; знакомство с жизнью молодежи и её
проблемами в России, Великобритании, Америке.
 Развивающий аспект — развитие творческих способностей учащихся,
способности к сравнению и сопоставлению знаний, способности
логически излагать усвоенный материал.
 Воспитательный
аспект — осознание понятий «Родина», «мир»,
«здоровый образ жизни», более глубокое осознание своей культуры и
культуры Великобритании.
 Активизировать творческие способности учащихся при подготовке
проектов.
Задачи внеклассного мероприятия:
 Совершенствование
речевых умений по теме (диалогическая и
монологическая речь).
 Обобщение и систематизация полученных знаний.
 Совершенствование фонетических навыков.
Оборудование мероприятия:
Компьютер, диски с презентациями проектов, плакаты с цитатами, флаги
стран (Россия, Америка, Великобритания).
Ход мероприятия:
I этап.
Проведение внеклассного мероприятия сопровождается музыкальными
номерами и стихами. За неделю ученики получают задания:
1. Найти дополнительный информационный материал о жизни молодежи и
её проблемах в России, Америке и Великобритании.
2. Подготовить проект по теме «Жизнь молодежи в современном мире, её
проблемы».
3. Написать эссе по темам:
3.1. «Parents often don't understand their teenagers children» (what's your
opinion? What can you say for and against this problem?)
3.2 «Some people believe that modern teenagers are really awful. However most
teenagers think that they're criticised for no reason» (What's your opinion? What
can you say for and against this problem?)
4. Написать стихотворения о мире и подготовить презентацию.
II этап. Подготовка к внеклассному мероприятию.
1. Оформление кабинета (презентация с целями и задачами мероприятия,
плакаты с цитатами, стихами).
2. Музыкальное оформление (подбор песен, стихов).
3. Подготовка карточек с флагами стран, именами.
III этап. Проведение внеклассного мероприятия.
В кабинете на стене висят плакаты, на которых написаны цитаты по
теме «молодёжь в современном мире».
На доске — презентация с целями и задачами внеклассного
мероприятия по теме «жизнь молодежи в современном мире».
1. Начало мероприятия. Приветствие, постановка целей.
Teacher: «Good morning, dear children and guests, we're glad to see you
at our party «Youth in the modern world, it's role and problems. How are
you? Do you have any problems? Today it's fashionable to speak about teen's
problems. A few years ago alcohol, fights, killings and other kinds of violence
were more problems for adults then for young people. And now answer my
questions, please!

Do teenage years bring luck?

Do you see only problems in growing up?

Do you think that people can live without problems?

What do your parents allow or forbid you to do?

How many Russian teenagers have drinking problems?

How many Russian teens run away from home every day?

How many children die in Russia every day?

Is the existence of sub-culture form of protest of the young people against the
values of the adults?

Have you got any problems with your friends?

Is the problem of love very important for young people?

Do you often quarrel with your parents?

Do you think that a generation gap can be bridged?
2. Речевая подготовка (чтение надписей с плакатов на стенах):

Problems: alcohol, AIDS, choosing the lifestyle, lack of good life, being
depressed, having expierence with drugs, running away from home.
3. Презентация проектов (демонстрация).
P1. «What's like being sixteen?» (It isn't easy being sixteen...).
P2. «Russian strategy for youth devepolment»
P2.: «Both Russian society and the Russian state authorities pay special
attention for young people living in modern Russia».
P3.: «On the other hand, however, young people have shown lower levels of
interest in political, economic and cultural developments».
P4. Project «Problems of youth in Great Britain».
P4.: «Life used to be fun for teenagers, they used you have money to spend
and free time to spend it in».
P5.: «Then, the girls all wore fashion, one style, one top pop group. Then, the
girls all wore mini-skirts and everyone danced to the music of the Beatles and
the Rolling Stones...»
P6. Project «Main youth organizations in Great Britain».
P6.: Surveys show that only relatively few young people regularly attend
youth clubs and organisations...»
P7.: «In GB there's a number of youth organizations that work under the
British youth council (BYC).
P8. Project «American youth».
P8.: «At 18, young people in the USA can take on most of the rights of adult
load. America's young people are mostly hard-working.
P9.: «What are the favourite sports of American young people? They prefer
football, baseball, basketball. At leisure, students spend much time watching
TV».
4. Discussing in groups (Обсуждение просмотренных проектов в группах).
T: Let's discuss the main youth's problems. (Учитель предлагает ученикам
заполнить кластеры, обозначив общие проблемы всех представленных
стран).
T: Express your opinion about problems.
P1,P2… … …
5. Well, comment on the following statement: Parents often don't understand
their children; some teens would like to have highly paid job; others believe
that their future job should be interesting and bring satisfaction.
6. Musical pause.
T: Let's have a rest. Poems and song.
Ученики читают стихи («Why?..», «Enjoy your teens», «Age and youth»)
, исполняют песню.
7. Watching thematic film.
T.: Let's watch a film about awful teen's problem.
Ученики смотрят фильм.
T: What emotions have you got? Do you think about healthy lifestyle?
Project «Healthy lifestyle».
Внеклассное мероприятие заканчивается
просмотром проекта
«Здоровый образ жизни».
The conclusion of the party.
T: Dear pupils! Thank you for your excellent work. I think teens must live in
peace. It's useful. We're going to listen the last poem and watch final project
about peace.
