Целью дисциплины «практика устной и письменной речи» является коммуникативное и социокультурное развитие студентов, позволяющее им использовать изучаемый язык как инструмент межкультурного взаимодействия; формирование и совершенствование коммуникативной компетенции (языковой, речевой, социолингвистической, дискурсивной), необходимой для общения в повседневно-бытовой, деловой сферах, а также совершенствование их самообразовательного потенциала в изучении английского языка. В связи с этим ставятся следующие задачи: 1. студенты должны уметь правильно с точки зрения произношения и употребления лексических единиц и грамматических структур излагать в диалогической и монологической речи свои мысли на бытовые, общественнополитические, педагогические темы с использованием стилистических и эмоционально-модальных средств языка; 2. варьировать грамматическую и лексическую сторону речи в зависимости от условий общения (формальное/ неформальное); 3. знать основные принципы построения текста на английском языке (описание, повествование, разъяснение, аргументация); 4. знать социокультурные особенности ведения диалога, презентации, дискуссии на английском языке, владеть речевым этикетом дискуссионного общения; 5. свободно понимать устную диалогическую и монологическую речь по повседневно-бытовой, общественно-политической, педагогической тематике в записи и непосредственном предъявлении; 6. понимать (без словаря) аутентичные литературно-художественные, а также общественно-политические тексты; 7. владеть навыками выразительно чтения вслух; 8. уметь дать правильный перевод на русский язык текстов, а также устных высказываний по темам, подлежащим изучению на 1-3 курсах; 9. знать социокультурные особенности письменного этикета, уметь правильно в графико-орфографическом, лексическом, грамматическом и стилистическом отношении выражать свои мысли в разных видах письменной коммуникации (сочинение, формальное и неформальное письмо, доклад, статья и т.д.). Место курса в общей системе подготовки специалиста. Практика устной и письменной речи английского языка - обязательная дисциплина, которая изучается в течение трех лет и имеет своим продолжением курс с тем же названием, который изучается студентами 4 и 5 курсов отделения иностранных языков. По окончании 3 курса студенты должны владеть следующими умениями в области говорения: 1. в нормальном темпе, с правильной интонацией и произношением вести беседу на любую из пройденных тем, используя лексический и грамматический материал 1-3 курсов; 2. уметь вести беседу по фильму, картинке, заданной ситуации, прочитанному или прослушанному тексту; 3. делать сообщения по теме, излагать содержимое прочитанного, прослушанного текста, дать описание картинки; 4. дать оценку прочитанному, прослушанному тексту, выразить свое отношение, сделать выводы, умозаключения; 5. владеть техникой дискуссионного общения, вести неформальную/ формальную в дискуссию по темам программы 1-3 курсов. В области аудирования 1. понимать речь преподавателя или другого лица в непосредственном общении или в записи в пределах знакомого лексического и грамматического материала; 2. понимать диалогическую и монологическую речь, которая по темпу соответствует требованиям программы и отмечена произношением неполного типа в записи и при непосредственном общении; 3.понимать художественные и научно-популярные тексты; критически воспринимать аудируемый текст: уметь выделить основную и второстепенную информацию, уметь расчленить сообщение на смысловые отрезки и формулировать основную мысль каждого из них, понимать имплицитно выраженную информацию и эмоционально-оценочные элементы текста. В области чтения студенты должны уметь: 1) читать про себя и понимать без перевода незнакомые оригинальные художественные и общественно-политические тексты, брошюры, рекламы, объявления; 2) владеть умениями просмотрового и ознакомительного чтения; 3) уметь перефразировать или перевести отрывок из текста; 4) уметь определить круг проблем, затронутых в произведении и вести по ним беседу; 5) вывести значение незнакомых слов, опираясь на контекст и знание словообразовательных элементов; 6) уметь дать характеристику персонажей и сформулировать главную мысль прочитанного; 7) уметь выделить в тексте явления синонимии, полисемии, омонимии, антонимии в пределах лексики, предусмотренных программой 1-3 курсаов В области письма студенты должны: 1) уметь писать орфографически правильно в пределах активного лексического минимума 1-3 курсов, в орфографических диктантах (180-200) слов, не считая артиклей) не допускать более 5 ошибок; 2) владеть умениями писать: - письмо личного характера; - деловое письмо (жалобу, рекламацию, заявление о приеме на - работу/учебу); - объявление; - статью объемом 200-250 слов по изученной тематике; - небольшой доклад по изученной тематике; - рецензию на просмотренный фильм, концерт, прочитанную книгу; - изложение прочитанного или прослушанного текста с выражением своего отношения к событиям и действующим лицам; - сочинение. 3) владеть умениями: - составить план / конспект своего устного выступления, прочитанного или прослушанного текста; - составить инструкцию, план действий. Активный лексический минимум к концу 3 года обучения должен составить около 3600 слов и фразеологических единиц для употребления в устной и письменной речи. 1.4. Экзамен по практическому английскому языку на 1 курсе, как и весь курс - комплексный, состоит из следующих частей: 1) чтение художественного текста и пересказ содержания с элементами анализа; 2) неподготовленное монологическое высказывание или беседа с преподавателем по одной из изученных тем или проблемному вопросу в пределах тематики 1 курса; 3) навыки письма проверяются накануне экзамена в форме диктанта (1 семестр) или изложения (2 семестр). На экзамене в конце 3 и 4 семестров 2 курса проверяются умение аудировать тексты, умения читать незнакомый оригинальный/ или слегка сокращенный текст, передавать его содержание и излагать собственную оценку, а также умения неподготовленной речи. В экзаменационный билет включены три задания. 1. Одноразовое прослушивание текста в магнитной записи и выполнение предложенного к нему задания. 2. Чтение и изложение содержания оригинального текста объемом 4-5 страниц в первом семестре и 5-7 страниц во II cеместре. 3. Беседа с преподавателем по темам, изученным в семестре.
