и сложность текста, например книги или статьи из журнала.
· Показатели Lexile дают вам ценную информацию о способности к чтению вашего
ребенка и помогают сделать процесс чтения более содержательным.
· Пользуясь библиотекой Lexile и автоматизированным библиотечным каталогом
(Lexile Book Database), вы можете помочь вашему ребенку подобрать книги
и материалы, которые соответствуют его/ее диапазону Lexile (приблизительно
на 50L выше и 100L ниже его/ее показателя Lexile).
· Когда ваш ребенок читает текст в своем диапазоне Lexile, то он достаточно
хорошо понимает его смысл, но при этом должен прилагать усилия, чтобы
учиться и поддерживать свой интерес к дальнейшему чтению.
· Хотя показатели Lexile и дают возможность оценить сложность текста, они не
предполагают оценку адекватности содержания. Например, в тексте с низким
показателем Lexile может отсутствовать подходящий материал для учащихся
с соответствующим диапазоном для данного текста.
· Показатели Lexile не соответствуют определенному году обучения в школе.

Система Lexile Framework® по чтению – это образовательный инструмент, который
обеспечивает соответствие степени сложности материалов для чтения уровню
учащегося на основании общего показателя Lexile®. Уникальность системы Lexile
Framework состоит в том, что она дает возможность оценить навыки чтения
и сложность текста по одной шкале оценки развития. Сочетание показателей Lexile
по навыкам чтения и показателей Lexile по сложности текста дает возможность
pодителям подбирать книги, статьи и другие материалы, которые соответствуют
способностям к чтению их детей. Подбор материалов для чтения, которые
соответствуют показателю Lexile ребенка, может способствовать пониманию
ребенком содержания прочитанного, выполнению школьных домашних заданий,
а также формированию и расширению круга интересов ребенка.
