Annotation. The interaction of market and state mechanisms of distributive relations is shown in the article
by the example of the availability of housing in Russia. It is underlined that the market mechanism leads to the
distortion of ratio between house prices and income of the population and also to deformation of distributive
relations. The author also analyzes factors that stimulate the growth of housing prices and the government's
measures for reducing this distortion.
