Annotation
The author has attempted to identify common patterns
and characteristics of the process of the emergence and
development of ancient Russian and Bulgarian statehood
in the context of the influence of Byzantine culture on the
political and legal pro-space Kievan Rus and Bulgaria.
Through involvement in the orbit of political influence of
Byzantium Empire-Christian culture has been incorporated
into all socially important spheres of the Eastern Slavs,
which determined the genetic relationship of the emerging
geopolitical and legal space of medieval Russia and Bulgaria to the values of the Orthodox branch of the Christian
culture.
